5.18광주사태의 진실에 대해서는 입도 벙긋하지 않던 반기문이 이슬람바드 폭동
진압작전이 평화적으로 해결되기를 바란다고 한마디 했다. 그러나 5.18사기꾼들이 퍼뜨린 거짓말이 지배하는 나라에서 반기문은 노무현 독재정권을
향하여 5.18광주폭동의 진실을 한마디라도 외친 적이 있던가. 본국에서도 광주폭동의 진실을 외면하였던 그가 어떻게 타국 정부의 폭동진압작전에
대하여 감히 훈수를 두려 한다는 말인가?
우리는 파키스탄 이슬람바드 모스크에서 좌익(혹은 친공산주의) 회교도들이 일으키고 있는 폭동에 대하여 아직 잘 알지 못한다. 그럼에도
5.18광주사태와 몇가지 점에서 닮은꼴임을 발견한다. 1970년대에 조총련 하위 기구 한민통이란 간찹단 두목으로 행세하던 김대중이 어찌나
조총련으로부터 포섭 훈련을 잘 받았는지 1980년 봄 서울대 복학생 이해찬에게 용돈을 주면서 포섭하고, 이해찬은 다시 서울대 영어교육과 3년
심재철, 사회학과 3년 유시민, 사학과 3년 한홍구 등을 포섭하였다.
1980년 5월 18일 오후 7시 북한 방송이 처음으로 광주폭동이란 용어를 사용하였으며, 5월 22일 서울대학보에서 처음으로 광주사태란
용어를 사용하였다. 이후 언론도 서울대 운동권이 제작한 광주사태 속보 대자보에 등장하는 용어 "광주사태"를 사용하여 보도하기 시작함으로
5.18폭동은 광주사태라는 이름으로 국민에게 알려지게 되었다. 그런데, 당시 유언비어 확성기 역할은 서울대 386운동권이 하였으되 광주폭동을
직접 주동한 세력은 따로 있었다.
1980년 5월 서울대 386운동권은 5월 22일로 거사가 예정되어 있었던 김대중의 전국적 민중봉기를 준비하고 있었다. 5월 22일
김대중은 최규하 대통령을 강제로 하야시키고, 내각 명단을 발표하고 스스로 대통령이 되려고 하였었다. 그런데, 그 계획이 그만 엉뚱하게
5.18광주사태로 폭발하고 말았다. 그리고, 서울대 386운동권은 인지하지 못하고 있었겠지만 광주폭동은 대학생들이 일으킨 것이 아니라, 김대중
조직과 일본 기자단 신분으로 입국하였던 한민통과 북한군이 일으킨 것이었다.
그래서 광주사태 발생 동기를 파악하는데 있어 중요한 점은 김대중이 여전히 한민통을 통해 김일성과 접선하고 있었느냐 하는 점이다. 김일성과
김정일은 김대중이 김재규 사형 예정일이었던 5월 20일 경에 전국적 민중봉기를 일으키고 스스로 대통령 될 거사 계획을 가지고 있었음을 알고
있었으며, 그래서 남침 예정일을 김대중의 전국적 민중봉기 시점으로 정해 놓고 있었다. 김일성은 그 사실과 그 계획을 중국 정부에 알렸고, 중국
정부는 다시 일본 정부에, 일본 정부는 다시 한국 정부와 미국 정부에 그 사실을 알려 주었다.
그러면 김일성은 5월 22일로 예정되어 있었던 김대중의 전국적 민중봉기 계획을 어떻게 정확히 알고 있었는가? 김일성 스스로
알아냈는가? 아니면 김대중이 여전히 한민통과 접선하면서 한민통을 통해 자기 계획을 김일성에게 보고하고 지원을 받고 있었는가? 바로 이런
사실들이 영화 "화려한 휴가"가 감추는 사실들일 것이다. 그러나, 이제는 광주사태의 진실에 대하여 우리가 입을 열어 말해야 할 때이다.
그리고, 이슬람바드 폭동과 광주사태의 닮은 꼴은 시위대의 총기 무장과 해방구 설치이다. 영화 "화려한 휴가"에서 시위대 손에 들린
태극기에 중요한 속임수가 있다. 그들은 실제로는 기관총과 수류탄과 다이너마이트와 박격포 등으로 무장한 무장폭도들이었으며, 광주는 이제 대한민국
소속이 아니라고, 광주는 독립한 해방구라고 말했었다. 해방구 설치 자체가 대한민국 소속을 부정하는 것이며, 그 상징적 행동이 대한민국 도청
점거였는데, 영화는 태극기로 눈속임을 하여 광주사태의 진실과 너무 다른 모습을 보여주고 있다.
